In the final steps before the official appointment, Telugu Desam, Janasena, and BJP have reaffirmed their support for Chandrababu Naidu as the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His swearing-in ceremony tomorrow is eagerly anticipated by alliance supporters.
During a legislative meeting today, Naidu briefly outlined his plans, particularly regarding the state’s capital. He confidently asserted that Amaravati will remain the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh, with additional focus on developing Vizag as a financial hub. “Amaravati will remain our capital without question. We will also prioritize the development of Vizag as a financial center, with special attention given to Kurnool.”
Since Naidu returned to power, the real estate market in Amaravati has boomed. Reports suggest that land prices have almost doubled since the alliance’s win. Chandrababu and Lokesh (previously) said no to the YCP government’s three-capital plan, ensuring that Amaravati remains the only capital.
