KTR Condemns Removal of Charminar from Telangana Emblem

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao strongly criticized the Congress government’s decision to remove Charminar from the Telangana emblem deeming it an affront to every citizen.

KTR accompanied by several BRS leaders staged a symbolic protest at Charminar against the government’s move.

He emphasised that at the same time as Hyderabad is the pleasure of Telangana Charminar stands as its iconic symbol.

“Charminar’s renown transcends borders making it synonymous with Hyderabad” he asserted.

Rama Rao criticized the Congress government of disrespecting Telangana’s heritage by overlooking Charminar and the Kakatiya wind from the state button.
