An important step towards his third term as prime minister has been taken with Narendra Modi’s election as the head of the NDA Parliamentary party. Under his direction, the NDA allies are ready to lay claim before the President about the upcoming formation of government.
Following his selection as the Leader of Lok Sabha and the NDA Parliamentary party, Narendra Modi received felicitations and garlands from allies at the Central Hall of Parliament. He paid respects to the Constitution by touching it with his forehead and bowing down.
The PM-designate thanked all of the leaders for their successes and praised their unwavering efforts in ensuring the alliance’s success. Cheers of ‘Modi, Modi’ rang out as he entered Central Hall.
In acknowledgment of Narendra Modi’s contribution to obtaining an overwhelming win for a third straight term, Rajnath Singh put out the idea for Modi to lead the BJP Parliamentary Party. He stressed that the BJP was committed to the coalition and did not view it as merely a forced partnership.
As party president JP Nadda congratulated NDA allies, Amit Shah backed the idea to name Narendra Modi as the BJP Parliamentary party’s leader. He acknowledged that the impending third term of Narendra Modi is a historic achievement of the alliance’s ongoing government.
