Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cadres are confidently asserting their alliance’s victory in Andhra Pradesh, foreseeing a government formation alongside BJP and JSP. Amidst this optimism, internal discussions within TDP are brewing, particularly regarding Nara Lokesh.
Buddha Venkanna a staunch TDP loyalist has voiced his demand for Lokesh to assume the TDP presidency soon. Venkanna lauded Atchannaidu’s initiative yet proposed a change with Lokesh expecting the administration once the public authority is shaped.
According to Venkanna, Lokesh’s leadership skills, notably honed during the Yuvagalam Padayatra, position him as a formidable leader capable of steering TDP’s course for the next three decades.
While Lokesh has long been seen as the party’s future leader, the swift internal deliberations within TDP indicate a potential paradigm shift.
Since 2014, Lokesh has operated as TDP’s behind-the-scenes coordinator, leveraging his extensive experience and organizational acumen. With a decade of experience, the time seems ripe for Lokesh to ascend to the TDP presidency, as highlighted by Venkanna’s recent remarks, signaling a significant development within the party.
