These include Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Despite the problems it has faced in the past, the BJP remains hopeful of expanding its base in southern India.

It was also his suggestion that the odds are highly in favor of BJP, indicating a strong faith on their part about the party’s chances. “We have the upper hand, And everyone knows it,” he said.
