Raghu Rama Krishna Raju addressing the media after filing an attempted murder case against outgoing CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, with allegations of custodial torture during his 2021 arrest.

Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has orchestrated one of the most striking comebacks in the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh. After a tumultuous five-year stint with the YSR Congress Party (YCP), he finally left the party and contested from the Undi assembly constituency under the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) banner. Today, he stands as a significant force against the Jagan government.

When it comes to taking revenge on Jagan Mohan Reddy, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju is far from done. He’s made a daring move by accusing Jagan Mohan Reddy of attempting to murder him.

The Undi MLA has lodged a complaint with the Guntur police, implicating the outgoing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and CID chief Sunil Kumar.

Raju’s complaint alleges that Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, CID chief P V Sunil Kumar, and other officials subjected him to custodial torture. He has accused them of attempt to murder, custodial torture, and criminal conspiracy.

Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was detained by the Andhra Pradesh CID in 2021, and there are claims that he suffered torture while in custody. As per his statement, former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered CID officers and police to perform the torture.

Raju has been waiting for this opportunity to strike back, and he is taking it now, accusing Jagan of attempting a murder. Jagan is already inconsolable over his defeat in this year’s elections.
