Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had a significant meeting on Tuesday with senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in the national capital, extending a warm invitation to her for the forthcoming Telangana State Formation Day celebrations slated for June 2 in Hyderabad.

During his visit to Sonia Gandhi’s residence Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conveyed the invitation on behalf of the people of Telangana emphasizing the profound importance of her presence at the event. According to Reddy Sonia Gandhi responded affirmatively to the invitation indicating her willingness to participate.

Speaking to the media afterward Chief Minister Revanth Reddy underscored the decision of the state cabinet to extend the invitation to Sonia Gandhi recognizing her pivotal role in the establishment of Telangana. He highlighted the Formation Day celebrations as a significant occasion for the people of Telangana expressing their eagerness to have Sonia Gandhi grace the event and commemorate the state’s 10-year journey.

Boss Pastor Revanth Reddy additionally focused on State head Narendra Modi condemning his new references to Pakistan during discretionary missions. He questioned the relevance of such mentions and pointedly inquired about the attendance at the Pakistani Prime Minister’s birthday celebration highlighting Modi’s past interactions with Pakistan’s leadership.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy further accused the BJP of diverting attention from pressing domestic issues like inflation, unemployment, and social welfare concerns by invoking Pakistan. He called for transparency from the BJP regarding the nation’s progress over the last decade alleging that the party is resorting to targeting the Gandhi family to deflect from its own shortcomings.

Asserting the Congress’s respect for the Prime Minister and the institution of the Prime Minister’s office, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy contended that the BJP’s claims of electoral dominance were unfounded. He expressed confidence in the INDIA bloc’s prospects in forming the next central government, dismissing the BJP’s assertions of sweeping victories even in traditionally challenging constituencies.
