Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi recently enjoyed a heartwarming reunion with Tamil actor Ajith Kumar in Hyderabad, where both were shooting for their respective films. Chiranjeevi took to Instagram to share his joy and pictures from their meeting.
A Joyful Meeting on Set
Chiranjeevi and Ajith Kumar, busy with their films Vishwambhara and Good Bad Ugly respectively, met on the sets in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi shared photos on Instagram, capturing the delightful moments. Dressed in a dark shirt, t-shirt, and gold chain, Chiranjeevi posed with Ajith, who sported his classic look of a shirt and chinos.

“Had a surprise Star guest on the sets of #Vishwambhara last evening. The very affectionate Ajith Kumar, who’s shooting next door, visited, and we spent some great time reminiscing about his debut film Prema Pustakam, whose music launch was done by me,” Chiranjeevi wrote.
Fond Memories
The actors fondly recalled the past, especially the time when Ajith’s wife, Shalini, appeared as a child actor in Chiranjeevi’s 1990 hit film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari alongside Sridevi. Chiranjeevi shared, “Shalini acted as one of the endearing kids in Jagadekaveerudu Atilokasundari. There were memories galore to cherish. I was so delighted at the peaks of stardom Ajith has attained over the years and yet how he remained a beautiful soul at heart!”
Upcoming Projects
Chiranjeevi is currently filming Vishwambhara directed by Mallidi Vassishta, co-starring Trisha Krishnan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath. The movie is set for a Sankranthi release on January 10 next year. Ajith is busy with Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly and has recently wrapped up filming Vidaa Muyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumen.
