Team Kalki 2898 AD has come up with an animated web series called Bujji & Bhairava, which you can stream from midnight. But before that, they had a special screening for fans and media, showing the first episode. Director Nag Ashwin was there and thanked everyone for coming.
Nag Ashwin said, “In a few hours, everyone will see what we’ve been working on for 4-5 years. It’s a bold move for our production house to make an animated series for Kalki 2898 AD and release it before the movie. It’s a new type of film. We had no idea how tough it would be when we thought of making an animated series. Animation is a whole different world. Full respect for animators everywhere. We worked with Green Gold, the makers of Chota Bheem, India’s pride.”
He added, “Even though we suggested many last-minute changes, Green Gold did a fantastic job. Let’s watch the series on Prime Video. Some dialogues might not have been clear because of the cheering. We ran three companies at the same time: Vyjayanthi Movies, Vyjayanthi Animation, and Vyjayanthi Automobiles. In a week, we’ll launch more promotional stuff.”
