Rajinikanth, the iconic actor, has embarked on a spiritual journey, traveling from Chennai to Dehradun to visit the sacred sites of Kedarnath and Badrinath. Known for his spiritual explorations, Rajinikanth is once again seeking the serenity of the Himalayan landscapes.
At Dehradun Airport, Rajinikanth spoke to ANI, expressing his excitement about the journey. “Every year, I gain new experiences from these trips, which keep me coming back. I believe this journey will bring new insights too.”

He emphasized the importance of spirituality, saying, “The world needs spirituality because it brings peace and calm. Being spiritual means having faith in God and finding tranquility.”
Before heading to the Himalayas, Rajinikanth visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. Photos and videos of him seeking blessings at the temple were posted on social media. During his Abu Dhabi visit, Rajinikanth received the prestigious UAE Golden Visa. He thanked the Abu Dhabi government and his friend, MA Yusuff Ali, for helping him get the visa. “I am deeply honored to receive the UAE Golden Visa,” he said in a video that went viral.
On the work front, Rajinikanth recently finished shooting for his 170th film, “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie, which features Amitabh Bachchan, is set to release in October. Rajinikanth and Amitabh were seen filming in Mumbai, and Amitabh shared a heartwarming Instagram post with a picture of them together, praising Rajinikanth’s humility.
“Vettaiyan” includes a star-studded cast with Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan, and music by Anirudh Ravichander. Filming took place in locations like Trivandrum, Tirunelveli, and Tuticorin.
Rajinikanth recently appeared in his daughter Aishwarya’s film “Lal Salaam,” a Tamil sports drama that discusses caste oppression and religious discrimination. Rajinikanth played a cameo role as Moideen Bhai, while Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth starred in the lead roles. The film received mixed reviews.
