Ramoji Rao, the visionary whose ideas transformed Telugu media, is no more. The media mogul passed away at a hospital today after fighting certain age-related health concerns for some time. To pay their final respects, some celebrities are going to Ramoji’s house.
Ramoji Rao created the world’s biggest film city, RFC, which provides jobs to many film workers and helps directors bring their big dreams to life. As a mark of respect to this legend, there won’t be any film shoots in Tollywood tomorrow. Telugu Film Chamber Secretary Damodhar Prasad has confirmed this.
The final rites will be held tomorrow between 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. in Ramoji Film City. The Telangana government has ordered that the funeral be conducted with state honors. Tollywood’s pride, Rajamouli, believes the best way to honor Ramoji Rao is by awarding him the Bharata Ratna.
