TDP leader and soon-to-be chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu orders no public traffic stops for his convoy. Naidu recently visited Delhi and saw the cops stopping traffic so his convoy could pass. Worried about the disruption this posed to the public, he gave the traffic police the order to stop doing this right away.

Naidu’s order was clear: the public should not be disturbed as long as the essential security precautions are followed. His Chief Security Officer (CSO) was immediately given orders by him to make sure that his convoy travels do not interfere with normal traffic. He made special emphasis of this during his drive from his home in Undavalli to the airport.

Naidu demanded a stop to measures like barricading, parades, road closures, and business closures during VIP travels, highlighting the need to strike a compromise between security and public convenience. He emphasised that although security precautions are necessary, people’s comfort should not be sacrificed for them.

Many people on social media have expressed gratitude for Chandrababu Naidu’s forward-thinking strategy, mentioning the difficulties and extended road closures caused by his previous Chief Minister escorts. His latest decision might be a move in the right direction towards more considerate governance and the well-being of the public.
