Quite expectedly, the BJP emerged as a star performer in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections, having contested as part of the NDA alliance along with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by Chandrababu Naidu.The conflicts currently in the state are between YSRCP on one side, INDIA formed by Congress on an end and with the NDA alliance joining forces with TDP and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party.
As it is the NDA alliance are seen to be achieving great results with leads in over 145 of the 175 assembly seats and getting 19 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats.The YSRCP is trailing, leading only in 24 Assembly and 5 Lok Sabha constituencies, which has been demanding night-time: 17.
