TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and JDU leader Nitish Kumar, that 28 parliamentary places are critical to the BJP-led NDA, are backing outgoing prime minister Narendra Modi while he sets up for a third term. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which obtained 293 seats in the 2024 parliamentary elections, more than the 272-seat the age of majority, will establish a fresh government on Saturday. Narendra Modi will be swearing in as Prime Minister for a third term.

Modi was unanimously elected as cooperation the leader and celebrated for his management as well as the advancements he created during the period he served. NDA partners commended his vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and his efforts in boosting India’s global status. Nitish Kumar’s JDU won 12 seats in Bihar. There’s speculation that Naidu and Kumar could be approached by the opposition INDIA bloc, which finished with 232 seats, 40 short of the majority. To prevent this, the BJP has secured written letters of support from the TDP and JDU leaders.

Today, NDA managers gathered at the Prime Minister home to review the election outcomes and discuss forming the next government. Later, a delegation of older BJP and NDA managers planned to meet with the president, Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan to assert their right to form the government. This delegation included TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and JDU leader Nitish Kumar, whose combined 28 places are critical to the NDA’s majority. Naidu’s TDP won 16 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, and he also won the Assembly elections to retain his position as Chief Minister. Modi, aware of their importance, mentioned Naidu and Kumar during his victory speech on Tuesday night at the party headquarters in Delhi.

When it became clear on Tuesday evening that the BJP couldn’t form the government alone, sources said Naidu and Kumar, experienced in coalition politics, might be courted by the Congress to stake their own claim. Neither leader has revealed their plans yet, but sources say they have made demands, including special status for their states and choice ministerial positions. On Tuesday, the INDIA bloc surprised many by challenging the BJP in a national election for the first time since the ‘Modi wave’ of 2014, finishing with 232 seats. INDIA leaders, such as Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, are said to are hesitant to approach Naidu or Kumar, but the intention seems to be there. The House of Representatives achieved its best achievement since 2009, gaining 99 seats.

In 2019, they obtained only 52 positions, prompting Rahul Gandhi leaving as party president of the United States and 44 seats in 2014.Earlier right now, Modi met with the president of India to offer his resignation ahead of the the government dissolve on June 16.He has been asked to remain on until the next administration has been established. This morning, he chaired the final cabinet meeting of his second term, downplaying concerns over the party’s performance. “Winning and losing are part of politics…We have done good work for the last 10 years. We will continue doing so.” Speaking to a supportive crowd at the party’s Delhi headquarters late Tuesday, Modi said the people of India had “placed their faith” in the NDA for a third time. “I bow to the people for this affection and assure them we will continue the good work done in the last decade to keep fulfilling aspirations.”
