Excitement fills the air as Shankar’s famous movie “Indian,” starring Kamal Haasan, Sukanya, and Manisha Koirala, returns to cinemas this Friday. The 1996 hit, which tells the story of Senapathy, a hero fighting against corruption and injustice, has fans eagerly awaiting its sequel, “Indian 2,” coming on July 12.

In a heartwarming display of fandom, a video surfaced online showing fans at Kamala Cinemas in Chennai rejoicing. There were cheers and excitement as the beloved character Senapathy, played by Kamal Haasan, appeared on screen. The energy peaked when fans lit fireworks inside the theater, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The excitement continued as fans wore custom-made t-shirts with “Indian is back” printed on them, expressing their love for the film. However, concerns arose about safety when fireworks were set off indoors. It’s unclear if there was any damage or if action was taken against those responsible.
