Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav announced his retirement from all forms of cricket today. Taking to social media the 39-year-old shared a heartfelt slideshow of career highlights accompanied by the song “Zindagi Ke Safar Mein” by Kishore Kumar.

Expressing gratitude Jadhav captioned the video “Thank you all For your love and support throughout my career for 1500 hours. Consider me retired from all forms of cricket.”

Jadhav’s justice trip began with his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on November 16, 2014, followed by his first T20I against Zimbabwe on July 17, 2015. Additionally he played 9 T20Is, scoring 122 runs with a top score of 58.

Jadhav’s retirement announcement bore resemblance to MS Dhoni’s retirement post on Instagram. Dhoni, the former Indian captain bid farewell with a slideshow of career memories set to the tune of “Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon” and the caption “Thanks a lot for your love and support throughout. From 1929 on, consider me retired.”
