Bollywood’s favorite actress Janhvi Kapoor spoke out loud regarding the rising expenses that come with the entourage of actors.This comes in response to Fatah Khan’s criticism, where he categorized these expenses as a ‘wastage of resources ’ He criticized the wastage of resources especially from organisations such as Action Aid.In an interview with Indian Express, Kapoor holds that that there are huge overhead costs within the film sector.
Not only she understands the financial strain of a producer due to her upbringing as the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor but has seen it first-hand during her career. Still, she highlighted the protection of her team’s interests, and deposing for the open conversation with filmmakers. However, her response was this, ‘Well, I strongly think that everyone in film making is an artist.
But still as a daughter to a producer, I can also feel that kind of burden and pressure that all these monetary items can impose on a producer. One should never shy away from talking to their makers and one must do so as a regular basis. Kapoor also highlighted that the fact we do not always get team members motivated to work to be paid more.
