The psychological thriller “Yevam,” starring Chandini Chowdhary in the lead role, is all set to hit the screens on June 14th. Directed by Prakash Dantuluri, the movie also features Vasista Simha, Bharat Raj, and Ashu Reddy in key roles. Today, the team dropped the theatrical trailer, giving us a glimpse into the intense world of “Yevam.”
Star director Anil Ravipudi launched the trailer online. It kicks off with Chandini Chowdhary stepping up as a police officer. Her parents don’t support her decision and make fun of her, but her senior (played by Bharat) backs her up, and they soon fall in love. Then, chaos ensues when a serial killer begins targeting women.
Vasista Simha plays the bad guy with creepy intentions, and the trailer also hints at themes like the objectification of women and celebrating their strength. Overall, the trailer promises an exciting and thought-provoking experience, tackling important issues women face today.
