According to the introductory prediction of the AP Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the candidates of the NDA which is led by Chandrababu Naidu is having a leading position on 135 out of 175 assembly constituencies.Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister leads in Pulivendla constituency and Jan Sena chief Pawan Kalyan leads in Pithapuram seat.
In the ongoing counting of the votes as well, it appears that the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance or NDA will likely be winning 19-22 out of the 25 Lok Sabha seats of Andhra Pradesh based on Mega Exit Poll.
EXIT POLLS for the ANDHRA PRADESH ASSEMBLY ELECTION have forecast the NDA under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu sweeping the polls, winning as many as 160 out of 175 seats the house dismissing the tally of 88, which is the majority mark. According to the survey conducted by TV5 Telugu, TDP will dominate YSRCP by winning 161 seats and securing only 14 seat out of the total 175 seats. This is the case for such constituencies as Rajampet with N Kiran Kumar Reddy from the BJP challenged by PV Midhun Reddy from YSRCP; Kadapa with YS Avinash Reddy of the YSRCP running against YS Sharmila Reddy of the Congress as well as Chadipiralla Bhupesh Reddy of the TDP.
While the previous year general election in 2019, the YSR Congress party had outplayed the Janta Sangam party securing 151 assembly constituencies and 22 seats of the Lok Sabha. The public waits to see the new alterations in political sphere of Andhra Pradesh as the results are declared.
