KKR vs SRH Final Match Highlights:
SRH captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. SRH faced trouble right from the start against KKR, with Mitchell Starc taking down Abhishek Sharma for just 2 runs in the first over. Things got worse when Vaibhav Arora sent Travis Head back for a duck in the very next over, leaving SRH at a shaky 6/2.
SRH couldn’t bounce back from this early blow and kept losing wickets. Even reaching 100 runs seemed like a distant dream. However, some spirited batting by skipper Pat Cummins down the order helped them scrape together a total of 113 before getting all out in 18.3 overs.
KKR’s bowlers were on fire, with every bowler getting at least one wicket. Andre Russell was the star, grabbing 3 wickets for just 19 runs. Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana each grabbed two wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, and Vaibhav Arora each claimed one.
When it was KKR’s time to bat, they suffered an early defeat when SRH captain Pat Cummins removed Sunil Narine in the second over. But Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Venkatesh Iyer steadied the ship and pushed KKR past the 100-run mark.

Towards the end, KKR lost Gurbaz on 39, but captain Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer ensured there were no more hiccups. KKR secured their third IPL trophy in the 11th over when Venkatesh Iyer took a single off Shahbaz Ahmed’s delivery.
