The NEET 2024 results have generated quite a stir. The unexpected discoveries have sparked widespread uproar, with the future of 24 lakh students at stake. The recently released results revealed that 67 students tied for the top rank, raising worries. Interestingly, eight of these pupils come from the same exam center. Some pupils earned extra marks, exacerbating the suspicions. Parents are now requesting that the NEET exam be held again.
Originally, the NEET results were supposed to be out on June 14th. However, the results were suddenly announced ten days early, coinciding with election results day. This has made the changes in marks very noticeable. Parents allege that the NEET exam paper was leaked, and they want a re-exam. They even plan to take the matter to court. Social media is buzzing with hashtags like #Neatfraud, #Neatpaperleak, #Neatscam, and #Neatreconduct.
Opposition parties are likewise outraged by the NEET results. The Congress party accuses the Modi government of harming students’ prospects by releasing question papers. Mallikarjuna Kharge, the Congress President, has called for an investigation to be conducted under the supervision of the Supreme Court. Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has demanded that the NEET be completely canceled. The Delhi High Court has sent notifications to the NTA over the exam results.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administered the NEET UG-2024 exam on May 5, with over 24 lakh students taking part.
