Fresh from wrapping up the shoot for his upcoming film “Vettaiyan” in Chennai, legendary actor Rajinikanth has been enjoying a vacation in Abu Dhabi, UAE Golden Visa During his stay, he made a memorable visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir, an event that has captured the hearts of many.
The BAPS Hindu Temple’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared heartwarming pictures and a video of Rajinikanth at the temple. In the video, the iconic actor is seen walking with a priest who explains the temple’s significance to him. The priest ties a sacred thread around Rajinikanth’s wrist and presents him with a book as a token of blessing. The images and video capture Rajinikanth admiring the temple’s stunning architecture and posing for photos with his companions.

This visit follows the honor of receiving a UAE Golden Visa, awarded to him by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT). Expressing his gratitude, Rajinikanth shared a video message saying, “I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden visa from Abu Dhabi Govt. My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi government and also to my good friend Mr Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and for all the support.”
On Monday, Rajinikanth spent quality time with his friend Yusuff Ali and some top executives from the Lulu Group. He visited Yusuff’s home and enjoyed a ride in his luxurious Rolls Royce. A video shared by a Lulu Group employee shows Rajinikanth beaming with joy as he rides to Yusuff’s residence, where the two friends had a pleasant conversation.
Rajinikanth has a thrilling lineup of films coming up. He will be seen in TJ Gnanavel’s “Vettaiyan,” set for an October release and featuring co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Additionally, he is gearing up to resume shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie,” which has already generated significant buzz with its teaser.
