Richa Chadha shared the two Cannes Film Festival outfits she most admires and discussed her views on how the fashion world is classist. Having set foot in Cannes in 2012 due to Gangs Of Wasseypur, Richa has frequently attended the event ever since, including for Masaan and Sarbjit and more.
Speaking recently in a chat, Richa showered praise on Nandita Das for her elegant simplicity and carrying off a saree so well as well as on Mallika Sherawat for she emerged as comfortable in her skin 15 years ago.In the interview, following the course of her career, Richa also addressed the issue of classism in the fashion industry as the designers did not pay heed to her until she starred in Masaan.
she went to lengths explaining that judgments given about the lack of one’s film roles or connections in the industry are unfair. TV actress sure Sase doing it right, Pedigree doesn’t only have to come from Bandra or a film family I believe I have tremendous cultural capital she opined.
